    Agency and Job Description:
    From 1st of January 2007, The Direction of Child Protection Iasi implemented a project named: “Resource Center for adopted children and adoptive families”. The financial costs were supported within a PHARE project.
    The Direction of Child Protection through this project supported the development and the diversity of social services in child protection by pursuing the following objectives:
    - To enhance the quality of national adoption
    - To promote and defend the dignity of adopted children’s interests and rights
    - To promote and defend the dignity, interests and rights of adoptive parents
    - To improve the provided services( support, assistance, monitoring and counselling  for the adopted children and adoptive families)
    - To support parental skills development among adoptive families  
    - To increase chances for adoption for the children who had difficulties in being adopted (children with disabilities, Roma children and young people)
    Duties and responsibilities:
    - Monitoring child’s evolution in the adoptive family (for two years after the adoption process)
    - Identifying the adopters needs and the potential deficiencies in child’s education
    - Organizing support groups for families in order to improve the parenting capacity and to prevent potential behaviour problems, affection or education problems which may occur in relation between the child and his adoptive parents
    - Advising and help for crisis situations overtaking
    -Organizing events and arranging recreational programmes in order to promote the national adoption
    - Elaborating reports, analysing, making proposals in order to attend the children’s best interest
