• Daily Cash Management - liaising with the cash management team to ensure accurate reporting of the daily cash position, utilising available borrowing facilities or investments in line with group policy to ensure liquidity and efficiency is maintained • Funding and Liquidity Forecasting - liaising within Finance to ensure accurate and timely cash-flow forecasts are received for management information purposes • Develop a good working relationship with the banks and other financial institutions on a day-to-day basis • Supervise and manage all cash balances efficiently, including negotiating of short term (overnight), mid-term and long-term deposits • Manage the foreign exchange risks by negotiating forward agreements on specific currencies (PLN) and also maintaining an optimal balance between local currencies and foreign currencies • Ensure compliance with German and local GAAP accounting rules for the treatment of derivatives and Foreign exchange losses/gains • Maintenance, development and adherence of the Schwarz Group’s Treasury and Finance policies • Providing of accurate financial reports to specific deadlines • Monitoring the monthly loan covenants and take decisions in due time in order to be in compliance with this covenants • Coordinating the process of mortgaging land and buildings for corresponding loan agreements • Monitoring and maintain the status of mortgaged properties and make amendments whenever required
Responsibilities: • Budget preparation and monthly analysis Actual YTD vs Budget. Preparation and reporting of the monthly financial deliverables (Group Reporting Pack) • Centralisation and documentation of the costs reduction measurements and roll-forward of the measurements plan with corresponding computations/deviations and delays analysis • Responsible with the development and implementation of new cash management and working capital strategies (Cash flow planning, inventories management, Payables and Receivables management) • Reviewing of the Cost centre and Internal orders accounting, related cost centres KPI’s, plan and actual calculations (hourly labour costs on different cost centres, machine hours), indirect costs (material procurement, production overheads, administration, distribution rates • Review or preparation of the monthly closing reports (production, salaries, sales reports, inventories and other logistics reports). • Coaching, coordinating and reviewing the controlling team (4 members) in Romania and Republic of Moldova • Design and implementation of internal controls and working procedures (including documentation and flowcharts) on treasury process, inventories and logistics processes • Recommendations memorandums and roll-forward of identified issues or proposed recommendations for Production and Human resources department
