- I have designed the chassis for ÖBB freight car type Rns-z(Austria). I designed the front wall of this freight car and the floor. I performed FEA calculations for the front wall and stakes. I designed tools (molds), for making the freight car Rns-z.
- I performed FEA calculations for the VTG freight car type Eanos (Germany), including the FEA report, I have corresponded with the experts for the approval, I have proposed solutions for meeting the criteria of resistance . I have designed the doors of the car, car body and locking devices for doors of this freight car. I have designed the floor of the car.
- I have designed the doors and locking devices for doors for the AAE freight car type Eanos. I have designed the floor of the car.
- I have designed the device for filling and emptying for the tank wagon VTG, type Zas(Germany).
I have made calculations of resistance for the tank of this wagon, in concordance with RID and other European standards.
- To solve these tasks, I have used the following tools/software:
* AutoCad: work in 2D and 3D, to provide drawings for the execution of parts and assemblies and for design freight cars and tools;
* SolidWorks: solids, surfaces, sheet metal, weldments, assembly, kinematics, for designing, modeling and to provide drawings for the execution of parts and assemblies;
* Pro-E: solids, surfaces, sheet metal, weldments, assembly, for designing, modeling and to provide drawings for the execution of parts and assemblies;
* Femap version 9.1, for FEA calculations. The models were obtained using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Pro-E. The necessary changes of models in Femap, I've done using Femap instruments.
* Microsoft Word, for drafting technical specifications and FEA reports.
* Microsoft Excel, for calculations and drafting bills of materials.
* Microsoft PowerPoint for the presentation of proposed solutions and projects.
* Programming using C + +, for getting programs, necessary for specific calculations to design the cars (calculations of gauge, calculations for suspensions, etc.).
