Häfele is a highly-regarded partner in architecture, woodworking and property development. Häfele's comprehensive hardware technology supply solutions include: furniture fittings, architectural hardware and Dialock, an electronic locking system.
I started to work as an Area Sales Manager for the Industry bureau in Romania, reporting directly to Europe Sales Manager. My specific task were:
o Identify the potential clients and define the best marketing strategies to get them interested in our products.
o Promoting company products and services
o Along with the Europe Sales Manager offer selling solutions and develop the actual portfolio of clients with special offers for Industrial Customer.
o Negotiate terms and conditions, according to the insurance company procedures, for each Industrial Customer.
o To provide technical support about all the products, having as a purpose satisfaction of customer needs.
o Generate monthly expense reports and analysis for Delivery Management
o Manage the enrollment process for customer orders, including review and data entry
o Received company's highest growth award 3 years in a row.
I managed to develop business by increasing the number of clients and their loyalty and this is demonstrated by the increased sales from € 260 thousand to €720 thousand in 2007, up to €1.060 mil in 2008, up to €1.320 mil in 2009.
In Oct.2009 the DE company decided to open in Romania the 33rd subsidiary, so this was the moment when I started to work as a National Sales Manager for Industry. Some of my responsibilities consist in:
o Develop very good business relations with company’s costumer, understand their current processes and propose the right offerings to them;
o Prepare high class presentations (in face to face meetings, webinars, conference calls) of company’s proposed offering;
o Negotiate company's proposals, pricing, terms and conditions, successfully close agreements with customers, find ways to create profitable solutions for both parties for a beneficial long-term cooperation;
o Self-manage of my own activity with full responsibility and awareness of what we want to continue building together;
o Work with other departments and upper management to resolve order related issues
o Constantly look for ways to automate the partner operations processing business functions
o Provides leadership and coaching to the teams through continual feedback and professional development planning
o Implemented training course for new recruits — speeding profitability
o Planning, organizing and coordinating the activities in the Industry Sales Department
o Support and improve the customer operations processing cycle including contract renewals, customer purchase order requisitions and customer reconciliation
o Monitor customer process compliance, and regularly report/escalate on issues and results
o Generate regular reporting and provide expert analysis on a regular basis
o Training and consultancy for customers
o Run, analyze and distribute various reports related to the business
o Additional projects, as needed
