-to draw up and place orders with the forwarders, and to follow them up; -negociate quotations and cost freights; -receiving and confirming the orders covering transports; -dealing with any disturbance that can occur while processing the actual transport activity; -maintaining touch with suppliers / clients, and filing them; -strategies of organizing the warehouses throughout the country where the company owns some depots; -all the activities that cover the best fluence in transportation - with the company own vehicle fleet or considering suppliers / clients -, in export related issues and stock management.
-to draw up and send offer inquiries from the domestic and worldwide suppliers, based on the material specifications handed over by the designing and technical departments, both for public illumination and electrical networks projects; -to look into and analyse the quotations provided by the relevant suppliers, from several points of view such as: the price, the delivery time, the delivery term and potential incentives depending on the quantity future orders may cover; -to professionally select the best suppliers and negociate/conclude agreements with those; -to annually or every two years asses and evaluate the suppliers and draw up the final list covering the approved suppliers as far as the quality management requirements are met; -to draw up and place the orders with the suppliers, and to follow them up; -to negociate the tems and conditions of the contracts and/or orders; -to watch the inventory in the warehouse under the Purchasing Manager subordination; -to attend the monthly meetings of the Board of Directors, submitting montly reports to the members; -to attend the annual budget meeting before the owners of the company, and the annual meeting to assess and evaluate the materialization and fulfillment of what was previously set; -to draw up and keep a data base covering the transportation services suppliers and to negociate the freights; -to continuously look for new improved products related to the requirements of the new or already in progress projects. Main activities and responsibilities -to carry out the export operations related to the deliveries abroad; -to set and/or negociate terms and conditions of the sale-purchasing contracts likely to be concluded between the company and foreign partners, and following up their fulfillment; -to issue all the related shipping documents, such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of conformity, certificates of origin for merchandise, CMR’s, B/L’s, AWB’s and all othernecessary accompanying documents to comply with the agreed delivery term as per the INCOTERMS Regulations into force. -to translate the technical and commercial product offers; -to pursue that the amounts of money covering exported goods, reach the company’s account within the previously agreed maturities; -to elaborate every supplementary papers when payments made by L/C’s, and handing them over the banking authorities in order for the terms and requirements of the L/C’s are met properly; -to book sea conteiners or road vehicles with the maritime shipping companies or road forwarders depending what way of transportation was selected; -to represent the company before the Customs Authorities when clearing customs formalities for goods to be exported; -to attend, as the company representative the commercial meetings and talks with foreign partners; -to represent the company at fairs and exhibitions; -to translate technical documentation ( Instruction Books, EC Directives ) and also accounting and commercial documents and reports; -to participate as an interpreter and an export-import specialist as well during the meetings and talks with foreign partners; -to seek for new business partners using various channels, as the Romanian Embassiesoverseas, the Internet, Directors of Worldwide Importers in the industry. Achievements: good conditions and terms covered by the contracts concluded, generating the best business relationships with the foreign partners and Romanian authorities
Export operations to the European countries, and Import operations for the whole activity of the company, with the following responsibilities: the same as above as for the Export Operations, and the following as for the Import Purchasing Operations: -0 -to place inquiries with foreign suppliers based on the specification received from production and/or designing department; -1 -to analyze the offers received from various points of view, that is price, delivery time, delivery term, any incentives possible depending on quantities; -2 -to carry out the import operations related to the goods acquired from abroad : placing orders covering the necessary merchandise specification, negociating terms and conditions of the sale-purchasing contracts, and following up their fulfillment; -3 -to issue payment documents covering the amounts of money for the imported goods when advance payment is necessary; -4 -to issue and putt together the documentation to be submitted to the Romanian Customs Authorities when imported goods should be placed under preferential importation conditions in full compliance with the related Romanian Regulations into force. Other Responsibilities: - -to prepare the necessary papers related to the official trips the company representatives were on ( accommodation fees and traveling arrangements ) involving relations with the foreign embassies, traveling agencies and Chamber of Commerce; -to participate as part of the team working on finishing off the documents which were to be submitted to the bank authorities in order the company to be granted loans. Dealing with all the above, I often had the possibility to influence the suppliers’ decisions on granting the company the best quotations and terms and conditions. Also, I was able to assert the company position before the Romanian Customs Authorities in obtaining the shortest possible time to obtain the approvals for placing the goods to be imported under preferential customs conditions where applicable. I have initiated and actively took part in communication projects aimed at promoting the products of my companies on international markets and to this end I had a positive and fruitful experience with the economic agencies attached to Romanian embassies abroad. I have conceived and produced monthly written reports informing the Department Director on the actual state of the ongoing contracts. I have often been asked for my opinion, knowledge and expertise when special and unexpected situations would come up in the normal flow of export operations. My expertise has always proved useful to the company Achievements: I managed to obtain a lot of benefots as far as prices, terms of payment and way of payments were concerned regarding both export and import transactions, which resulted in high proceeds for the company
