Part of Louis Hotels Company, Royal Apollonia Hotel is a 5 star hotel with more than 200 rooms, 4 restaurants, 2 bars and 4 conference rooms situated in the heart of touristic area in Limassol. Responsibilities for Banqueting Department: • Responsible for the set up( tables and chairs display, plates and cutlery set up, equipment set up) of the conference halls for various events: parties, weddings, business meetings, coffee breaks, trainings, team-buildings, TV shows and to ensure they are set to the correct standard; • Coordinate the service and staff for the events; • Welcoming the guests Responsibilities as head-waiter: • Responsible for Dyonyssos Restaurant(breakfast and dinner buffet style-280 seats capacity) during winter season(November-April) and 3-4 days per week during summer season and Thalassaki Restaurant(buffet and a la carte style, open-air lunch restaurant-165 seats capacity) ; • Coordinating the service and waiting staff for a good service , presenting the food and drinks menus to the guest, taking orders for food and drinks; • In charge of the Dispense Bar for the main restaurant (requisitions, stock taking, transfers between different departments, etc); • Training (restaurant and room- service) the new staff members. Achievements: Winning a reputation as an astute and committed team player, I achieved several rapid promotions from Waiter B to Waiter A and then to Head-Waiter and Banqueting Organiser.
Dreadnought Hotel, with its 63 rooms, is situated in the popular holiday town of Callander, in the heart of the Trossachs National Park, in Scotland. Responsibilities: • Housekeeping duties: -Monitor and direct all Housekeeping personnel; -Inspect rooms daily; -Prepare employees weekly schedule; -Coordinate the daily schedule and work assignments of the Housekeeping staff; - Check the equipment, cleaning supplies, linens and other supplies -Training new staff. • Restaurant duties: -Waiter (evening shift). Achievements: Promoted from the Housekeeper position to the General Assistant positions (coordinate and supervise the Housekeeping Department) - July 2005.
Nexus Consulting was a PR company. The main activity of the company took place in Bucharest, but they develop projects outside Bucharest too. My duty was to help the company organize the events / projects developed in Transylvania.
