Co-ordination for Oil & Gas Surface Facilities Construction, having main responsibilities: • Manage subcontractors and internal services team during Production Equipment installation and pipelines construction; • Manage and supervise construction works and services performed on site as pipe spool fabrication, piping installation, Hydro-test and Leakage Test; • Providing assurance / verification for Engineering specialties: mechanical, structural, topographical, process, roads; • Monitoring project activities within the framework of budget, operational requirements, technical specifications and timetable; • Supervising workshop manufacturing for equipment such as tanks, heat exchangers or separators; • Communicating and reporting on matters concerning all stakeholders involved: Project Team, Contractors, Senior Management, Vendors; • Assurance for major equipment works required on site: Crane, Backhoe, Cementing and Fracturing Unit, Water Truck, Liquid Nitrogen Converter & Truck.
Design & Build for Oil & Gas EPCC & EPCM Projects – Exploration, Production, Refining - having main responsibilities: • Deliver support to customers in order to identify Scope of Works: site visits, presentations; • Participating in site inspections in refineries and/or production parks in order to evaluate the existing Units and submitting reports containing revamping / replacing solutions for piping and equipment such as pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, tanks; • Issuing organizational chart for specific projects; • Providing engineering design assurance/ verification of specific files: Feasibility study, Conceptual, FEED, Permitting, Detailed Engineering, As Built; • Project governance by means of regular meetings and reporting with stakeholders: designers, vendors, clients, senior management and company personnel; • General planning and follow – up for all the activities required: offers, engineering, permitting, procurement, manufacturing, installation, close – out; • Supervision for work packages: procurement, fabrication, site installation; • Generating procedures for Testing, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning: Hydro test, Water Flushing, Air Blowing, Air Freeing; • Providing support for maintenance and operations: manuals, Spare Parts list / 2 years insurance stock • Preparing files to be approved by 3rd party (NOBO) for piping or vessels certification; • Monitoring safety key performance indicators and root causes analysis for incidents; • Checking vendors invoices and preparing submission of invoicing to client; • Keeping project register updated and management for Punch List items; • Non-conformities: identifying and corrective actions; • Team management: mentoring, coaching. PROJECTS: • Revamping for Gas conditioning unit for OMV Petrom in Boldesti, Romania – over 3,000,000 € budget. The project included replacing of existing liquefiable gas cut recovery process with a much more efficient technology based on LTS package. • Metering Point various locations–4,000,000 € budget, consisting in modules: intake manifold, separators, electric, instrumentation, instrumental air.Each project was adapted to location and crude oil properties.
Co-ordination for CAPEX/ OPEX projects for general revamping in Primary Production Area (Sintering, Blast Furnaces and Steel Melting Shop) - roughly project portfolio: 200,000,000 €. As result, the steel production capacity has increased for 50% (from 2Mto/y to 3Mto/y). I was completely involved in: • Identifying the performance of the existing mechanical equipment and proposing new devices to be installed; • Elaborating the scope of works together with the User Leader; • Issuing/ Checking engineering file, supervising site works and releasing work procedures for Manufacturing, Lifting, Installation, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up; • Reviewing Operating and Maintenance manuals; • Releasing procedures for preventive maintenance: non-destructive tests, replacement schedule for components; • Communication with local authorities, ISC, ISCIR; • Reporting to Steering Committee and making presentations in Proximity Meetings; • Issuing non-conformity reports and approval for corrective actions; • People development: coaching and encouraging initiative, communication and delegation. PROJECTS: • 300tf Crane Replacement in Steel Melting Shop – over 10,000,000 € budget. The project was performed with minimal impact on production and included the existing beams dismantle, replacing them and installation of a new crane. • Revamping Desulphurization and slag skimming station in Steel Melting Shop –1,350,000 € budget
Project management & Engineering for EPCC projects in industrial area such as chemical plants, refineries, cement plants and including Technical Installations, Industrial Shelters, Containerized Control Rooms and Conveying systems, fully involved in: • Issuing General Arrangement Drawings and Equipment Arrangement Drawings in 3D; • Mechanical design in all required stages: Conceptual, Bidding, Detailed, Bill of Quantities, Specifications; • Elaborating the network co-ordination plan in 3D, including: technological lines, cable trays, ventilation and sewage; • Releasing work procedures: Welding, Painting, Erection, Storage; • Issuing request for quotation to vendors and leading audits to them; • Generating purchasing orders to suppliers and verifying their invoices; • Quantity and quality supervision of the works performance; • Pro-active follow-up and co-ordination with internal Business Units: Workshop, Sites, Quality, Engineering; • Compliance with international standards: ASME, ISO. REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS 2010 (Project Based in Middle East) • Revamping Di-Ammonium Phosphate Production Plant for SNC-Lavalin & Jordan Phosphate Mines Company in Aqaba, Jordan. 2011 • Containerized Control Rooms within South Yoloten Gas Field Development project for Turkmengas/ Petrofac in Turkmenistan.
Design & Build for industrial area projects; • Leading mechanical and structural design team consisting in specialists: engineers, cost controller, planner; • Issuing engineering timetable and responsible for meeting all the major schedule milestones dates; • Management for construction phase of major projects, including procurement, fabrication, quality, safety and co-ordination over specialty subcontractors; • Mentoring and coaching junior engineers and trainees. Projects: • Manufacturing Areas and Regional Offices for Cameron in Ploiesti (Romania) – 16,000,000 € budget. The facility is used for production of high pressure oil & gas systems and the production area included automated machining for valves and well head subassemblies, welding, QA/QC spaces and product delivery zone.

Coordinating industrial and civil projects for such clients as Nuovo Pignone, ENI or OMV Petrom, fully involved in: • Leading and planning a team of specialists: mechanical & structural engineers, cost controller, HVAC; • Design in all required stages; • Checking and approval for the design documents; • Issuing and justifying the variation orders; • Leading site visits together with the clients; • Pro-active follow-up for the steel structure workshop (~600 tones/ month) and sites.
