    Company activity field: The aim of the institute is to carry out interdisciplinary activity research in the latest scientific and technological research subjects belonging to Biosciences, Nanosciences and physical and chemical process that occur at the interface of biosystems with natural and artificial nanostructured systems.
    Responsibilities: 	- Quantitative and qualitative elemental analysis through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and result interpretation following analysis; 
                            - Starting with June, 2013, structural characterization through Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM); 
                            - Publishing articles in journals of interest in the field; participation at science conferences with posters based on the results obtained.

    Responsibilities: 	- My purpose was to develop FeB nanoparticles which could be used like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent, taking into account some important parameters for in vivo and in vitro applications: magnetic structure, size distribution, biocompatibility, toxicity, chemical structure among others. 
                            - Morphological, structural, chemical and magnetic characterization of FeB nanoparticles using AFM, TEM, SEM, XPS and SQUID.

    Shift experience: 	- My practice took place in the Department of Predictive Maintenance on the Petromidia Platform from Constanta, in the Rominserv company. As general entrepreneur of the Rompetrol Group, Rominserv collaborates 
    with all Group companies regarding the implementation of the investment projects, modernizations and maintenance services.
                            - My main tasks were initially to learn and then to apply the techniques existent in the predictive maintenance department in order to maintain the normal operating parameters of the dynamic( engines, turbines, pumps, blowers) and static machines( ovens, power stations) on the Platform. The main purpose was identification of certain defects, monitoring and, depending on the gravity, correction, so that their functioning period at normal parameters could be prolonged. In this regard we undertook four analysis types, namely: vibration analysis, thermographic analysis, oil analysis and ultrasonic analysis.

    Shift experience: 	- practice took place in the 5th year of university studies, while, beside the accumulated knowledge in the field where I had the possibility to analyze and interpret data obtained as a result of XPS measurements (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy), I progressed in the realization of my license work- A local structure study of B2O3-Bi2O3 glasses through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
